  Mission

The mission of All Children Matter is to work for the election of public officials who are committed to the enactment of meaningful reforms to ensure that all children in America – without regard to race or family income – have equal access to a quality education.

All Children Matter also works in some states to communicate with citizens about the issues that are important to them, encouraging them to contact their candidates and legislators about these important issues.

In America today we have a two-tiered system of education. Parents with financial resources can afford the option of moving their children to better-performing school districts, but millions of children who come from disadvantaged families are forced to attend schools that leave them behind.

Entrenched special interests opposed to change are standing in the way of a quality education for these millions of children. All Children Matter is working to change the political environment by standing up to these special interests to ensure that these children and their families will have a voice for school choice – and an equal opportunity for a quality education.

All Children Matter will inform citizens in states throughout the nation about these crucial issues, and, in some cases will support the election of candidates who have the courage to address the real problems facing our education system and who will pursue genuine, meaningful reform: empowering parents with more choices, making schools more accountable to parents, and guaranteeing equal opportunity for all kids.

All Children Matter will recruit, train, and fund candidates for election throughout America who are committed to these goals. All Children Matter will work to build a powerful, energetic new voice on behalf of disadvantaged children and their families and to ensure that – in every state Capitol across our nation - that voice will be heard.
